Return/Cancel Order Policy

1. Purchased at our physical store location and want to RETURN the item(s):
If you purchased from our physical store location and are not satisfied with the pottery:

If you purchased online and are not satisfied with the pottery, you can return the pottery within 15 days of the delivery date.*
To ship the pottery back to us:
- You must notify us by email or a phone call that you are sending pottery back BEFORE you send the pottery.
- You need to be careful and deliberate when re-packaging the pottery.
- Returned items are to be packaged in the same manner and material in which they were sent.
- The pottery needs to be fully insured for its retail value.
- If pottery is broken during the shipping process, the customer needs to fill out the proper USPS insurance claim forms
to be reimbursed. From Miry Clay Pottery will not fill out the USPS insurance claim forms.
-The customer is responsible for the return shipping and insurance costs.
- Packages must have a tracking number.
- From Miry Clay Pottery is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs when shipping back to us.
3. Purchased online and want to CANCEL the order (order has NOT shipped):

If you purchased from our physical store location and are not satisfied with the pottery:
- Return the pottery within 15 days of the receipt date.*
- Returns MUST HAVE A RECEIPT. (Even if it was a gift.)
- Pottery must be unused and not broken.
- Pottery can be exchanged or store credit can be issued.
- There is a 15% re-stocking fee for all pottery returned AFTER the 15 day period from receipt date.
2. Purchased online and want to RETURN the order:
If you purchased online and are not satisfied with the pottery, you can return the pottery within 15 days of the delivery date.*
- The pottery needs to be unused and not broken.
- The customer will be reimbursed with store credit for 85% of the purchase price of the pottery, because there is a 15% re-stocking fee for all returned pottery.
- The refund transaction will take place once we have received the piece(s) in perfect condition.
- Please note, shipping charges are non-refundable.

3. Purchased online and want to CANCEL the order (order has NOT shipped):
- You can cancel your order WITHIN 7 days from date of purchase as long as the order has NOT been shipped.
- If the order has already shipped, see #2 above, "Purchased online and want to RETURN the order."
- Refund process can take 9 - 14 days
- There is a 4% cancellation fee.
- Meaning, if you placed a $100 order (pottery + shipping) and cancelled for any reason, you will receive back $96.00.
- "Why?" you ask. We need to enforce this because our credit card company is enforcing it upon us. Which is not fun at all.
- If you cancel your order AFTER 7 days of purchase and the order has not yet shipped, you will be reimbursed with store credit for 85% of your purchase total.
4. *Custom designed, custom glazed, or sale items:*
- All sales are final on custom orders and sale items, whether it was purchased at our physical store location or online.
- Due to the made-to-order nature of our custom work, we cannot offer refunds.
- Definition of a custom order: Any items created that have been personalized, customized, or glazed in a custom way.
