Scratches or Discoloration Disclaimer
What we mean by "Scratches"
What we mean by "Discoloration"
- We not responsible for scratches made on counter tops, coffee tables, dining room tables, other pottery, or any other surface. The pottery we make is stoneware. Stoneware is very hard and may leave scratches on other surfaces. Stone is very hard and can leave scratches.
- Any pottery can scratch another surface. How the pottery is handled and what the pottery comes in contact with could determine if it does or does not scratch.
What we mean by "Discoloration"
- Our Winter White, White with Black, and maybe even the Beige glazes could, over time, discolor due to liquids that have a high stain factor. For example, coffee and some teas could, over time, discolor the pottery glaze and/or raw clay that is on the very bottom. This could, if it does happen at all, take years to develop.
- If it does happen, think of it as a patina.
- If you think this happens too quickly, if it happens at all, or you have general questions or concerns, please contact us. We want to know if something isn't right.
