Broken Policy
If our pottery breaks or chips from general use:
If our pottery breaks during shipping:
- We do not offer refunds or exchanges for broken or chipped pottery. You can, however, order and purchase a replacement.
- If you truly think the product was flawed, we will need pictures of the following:
- The broken vessel itself as a whole in it's current broken condition
- A picture of the thickness of the walls to see the cross section of where the vessel was broken at. (Be careful pulling/breaking it apart. USE GLOVES and WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
- Send the pictures of the broken vessel to frommiryclaypottery@gmail.com.
- If you don't have the pictures, we're sorry, we cannot just take your 'word for it'. We need proof.
- We make hundreds of pieces every year, for many years now. WE KNOW IF IT IS A FLAW OR NOT and we are fair to everyone because that is how we would like to be treated. If it is truly a flaw, don't worry, we'll be fair and take care of it. To determine if it is a flaw or not is not up to you. Trust us on our decision.
- Sometimes things break because of happenstance, it is called life. We're just being honest and fair.
If our pottery breaks during shipping:
- Keep all the packing material, the box, the broken vessel, etc.
- Why? You will need to take that to the Post Office for them to look at everything.
- Call us and we can give you instruction on how to proceed with the insurance claim you will have to do with the United States Postal Service. Each box we mail has insurance on it.
